Ginny - M2C day 56

Hola!  Buenas Noches Girlz!!! :)  MEXICO was wonderful!!!  Unbelievable!  Incredible!  Amazing!  I loved it!  Ready to go back!

How are y'all doing?  This is our last week of M2C.  60 days sure does go fast!  I'm already looking forward to what we do next!

S - Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.  See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.  Psalm 139:23-24

O - Whenever I read this verse I picture the person standing, arms open and spread by his side, palms up, head up, and saying - "Here I am Lord.  Have Your way."  This verse reminds me that God is all-knowing.  He knows me better than I know myself.  He knows where I am at this very moment and what I am going through and what I am feeling and what I am thinking and He also knows where I need to be, what I need to be feeling and what I need to be thinking.  This verse is a perfect picture of God's child bowing and yielding to His magnificent holiness.

A - I am guilty of placing too much importance on feelings or even sometimes the lack of feelings...does that makes sense???  When I think feelings, I think moodiness, and I hate it when I'm moody.  I get irritated with myself when I am moody.  Nothing aggrivates me more than being moody.  I do not like it.  If I was to pick an opposite to moody I would say grounded.  Someone who is grounded knows who they are and doesn't get tossed around by their circumstances.  They are constant.  Reliable.  Stable.  I like all those adjectives.  I want to be all those adjectives.  Sadly, I don't portray those adjectives all the time.  How do I get there?  I know the Truth inside and out.  I become closer to my Savior everyday through His Word, and begin to see things through His eyes.

P - Lord I pray that I may become more and more grounded in You.  I want to run to Your Word before I wallow in emotions and feelings.

Thanks for praying for Todd.  First day went good.  He is working for a friend of his that owns a heavy machinery business.  That actually sale machinery to construction/building crews.  The long term goal is for Todd to run the new shop they hope to open soon in the Dallas area.  Right now the shop is in Hillsboro, south of Dallas/Ft. Worth a little.  Thanks for all the prayers!!!
