S - Luke 16:24 The rich man shouted Father Abraham have some pity! Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. I am in anguish in these flames.
O - Interesting points that stand out to me today
*Rich man asks for pity when he never gave pity
*Asks for Lazarus to relieve him, he still thinks he can tell people to do things and get what he wants
A - Who am I not giving mercy and grace to that needs it from me? Am I putting others first and sharing Christ or am I putting my needs first and then finding time to meet theirs?
P - Lord help me not to be selfish with what you've blessed me. Help me to have the mindset that everything I have is yours and there are people every day that I need to share my blessings with. Nothing is mine Lord it is all yours.
