Good Morning Girlz!!!

S - "And by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, "I have come to know Him," & does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him; the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

O - "Abide" is one of my favorite words. It's not about running around "doing" things for Christ it is about abiding. Latched onto. Soaking Him up. I also like the phrase "walk in the same manner." At the bank when I walk around the top floor, I can see down to the first floor. Because of how the ceiling is I can't see the faces, but I can see from about the waist down when someone goes walking by. I love to guess who the person is just based on their walk. It's amazing how quickly I can identify the person just based on their walk.

A - That's what I want in my life! I want people to know who I am based on my walk. Am I walking in the light or dabbling in the darkness? Will others know I am a child of God or running from Him? It takes abiding. Clinging to Him. Growing in Him through His Word and prayer.

P - Lord, keep me in Your Word. May I not sacrifice the discipline of spending time in Bible Study each day. Keep that priority, so that others may recognize my walk as YOU. Lord, I also pray that you give each one of these girls a good day. May this Tuesday hold lots of bright spots for each one of them and their precious families. Thank you for sweet friends, and the opportunity to learn about You together. Love you!
