Good Monday Morning!!!! I've missed you. Ginny it looks like y'all had fun this weekend.
S - and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ. Wives be subject to your own husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ also is the head of the church. He himself being the Savior of the body.But as the church is subject to Christ so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything.
O - I know this is one of the most controversial passages especially for women who are very much into the woman empowerment, but God is very orderly and he designed men and women a certain way for a reason...to glorify him. Believers make up the church and we are the bride of Christ, we are subject to him. He created marriage between a man and woman and we as women are the bride and subject to the husband not as a mindless slave but in a respectful attitude we follow the lead of our husband and let him follow Christ's lead.
A - I wish this wasn't such an issue for some people because when this is carried out the way God intended it's not degrading to women but actually protects us and gives us the opportunity to carry out life the way God designed us to. His design is always best. I may be rambling but that comes from sleep deprivation:)
P - Lord help me to live in a way that I am always subject to your direction and thank you for designing us the way you did by allowing us to lead and to follow.
