HAPPY TGIF morning!
S - 15:2 Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.
16:1-16 These verses Paul is telling them to greet people.
O - This is another instance in scripture of not being self focused and self centered. When we're focusing on others and being hospitable using Christ's love we are lifting up and encouraging others and pointing them to Christ.
A - I've always wanted my home to be a revolving door where people can come and feel comfortable and welcome. It's so easy to just get complacent being here and constantly picking up the same messes over and over and corralling the boys instead of inviting others over. It has to start with me inviting and not worrying about the million things that are out of place. I've got several neighbors who have never even been in my home.
P - Lord help me to show love to others by opening up the home you've given me and making it a place where friends can come and feel loved and encouraged. Thank you for what you've given us and thank you for relationships that we can learn from and be lifted up through.
I wish you were all close enough to be at my home right now! Have a fun fun weekend in this blazing heat:)
