Good Morning Girlz!!! I am loving this study! I think it might be my favorite one we've done so far! So good and simple.
Hope everyone has a fun weekend planned. I have visitation for a friend's mom tonight, 8 miles in the morning (and we're doing hills)!!!, driving to Plainview after that to visit my old Bible Study teacher from FBC, and getting to see the new Meryl Streep movie with some girlfriends tomorrow night back here in Lubbock. Lots of fun stuff!
I text Nancy last night and she is having a CT done right now. The surgeon will be waiting to see the results and then they may go ahead and do surgery today depending on the results. Nancy said it had really grown. So, thank y'all, thank y'all, thank y'all for praying! As I hear things I'll update y'all!
S - Psalm 103:2 - ...and forget none of His benefits
Pslam 103:5 - Who satisfies your years with good things...
O - I am amazed at how the Lord's goodness never ends. He just keeps dishing out blessings and more blessings. I think about some friendships I have had in the past where I got so tired of being the one who always gave, and eventually I decided I couldn't do it anymore and that friendship eventually dwindled. God doesn't do that. He doesn't have a limit. He keeps giving.
A - Gifts from God: salvation, His Word, protection, a job I love, provisions to live a more than comfortable life (a house, furniture, hot water, a bed, a TV, dishes, food in the pantry, plants in the flower beds, gas to drive my car, a car that works, cute clothes), family, friends, a wonderful church family, forgiveness, health, rain
Gifts from others: my boss does so much for me!!!; prayers of friends; Athena (my sewing friend) gives of her time, craft supplies, and food to feed me supper each week; my friend Aime Smith is always brightening my day with timely texts or small care packages in the mail; my friends Kim & Kyla who I get together with each weekend - they are so good just to shoot the breeze with me and laugh or cry or vent or whatever else we need to do :); Mrs. Debbie at church who truly treats me like her daughter
I'll keep thinking and will have to come back and add more in the comments :))
P - Lord, THANK YOU for Your limitless gifts and thank you for those people You put in my life that also bless me in so many ways.
