Ginny - Gratitude Day 5

Good Morning Girlz!!!  Hope everyone had a good weekend!  When is the official first day of school for everyone?  I think kids here go back the 27th.

quick update on Nancy - we texted on Friday and then I got to talk to her again for a quick minute at church yesterday.  So much still unknown.  It is a large tumor in her abdominal cavity, but no one is saying for sure cancer or not cancer.  My brain just keeps thinking, if it was cancer or could be cancer just take it out already!  One doctor mentioned something about maybe sending her to MD Anderson, but that was not a definite.  She hopefully will find out more answers today and surgery is still scheduled for tomorrow.  Lots and lots of prayers are still needed.  I told her I prayed for her the whole time I was running on Saturday, and since I'm so slow that ended up being a long time!  (see there are good things about being slow - more prayer time)  We just laughed and I told her not to worry on Saturday mornings she would be covered!

S - always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; Ephesians 5:20

O - ALWAYS for EVERYTHING.  Always give thanks for everything.

A - I like the idea of "if tomorrow's supply depended on today's thanksgiving, how much would I have tomorrow?"  Here is my list of "little things:"

a comfy bed and a good ceiling fan; a supply of good face cleaning supplies and makeup; the basic tools to help me get ready in the morning like hair dryer, curling iron, etc; my coffeemaker; my blender that I make bfast smoothies in; food to put together a good lunch with; a cute 31 lunch bag; a closet full of clothes and shoes to chose from; good music to listen to in the mornings and all the electronics that I can listen to it on

These are just a few from this morning that I can think of.  This list could go on and on and on.  It truly is all from Him.

P - Lord, help me never take for grantit all that I have because of You.  You have supplied me with every comfort beyond what I deserve.  I want to be a good steward of what You have given me.  Use me and the things You have given me to bringYou glory & minister to others.
