Ginny - Gratitude Day 20

Good Morning Girlz!!!

I have thanked a couple from my list on Friday, but I'm still making my way through the list.

S - But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8

O - I need to honor the Lord by loving and supporting my family.  When I let selfishness and bitterness take the spotlight, I drop the ball on the responsibility and command He has given me.  I need to put them first and my needs second.  I need to look for ways to build them up, and how I can help them.  I haven't been too good at this lately.  I know the Lord would have me change.  I pray for strength and grace to do better in this area.

A -
  • Dad - that he built a foundation of committment to God's Word and committment to reguarly attending church in me
  • Mom - her unconditional love (even when I have an attitude)
  • Amy - her strength to keep everything going with her household and still have time to talk to me for long phone conversations, and she also lets me pop into her house and stay the night spur of the moment
  • Todd - he's always a good sport to let me stay at their house and lets Amy get away for sister weekends.
  • Tim - we can talk about anything and I know he won't judge me, but he will also give me his opionion and advice (even if it's not what I want to hear)
  • Sarah - I'm thankful that she is responsible and can help Amy out so much
  • Rachel - I'm thankful for her quiet spirit that doesn't do drama.  She is no frills.  Everything is black & white.  Very much common sense.
  • Emily Grace - She is very independent and does things on her own and in her own style.  She puts "different" outfits together and looks so cute.  She also has a great eye for photography.
  • Ben - He makes life so fun.  He'll joke around and be crazy, but is also so sweet and will hug you right when you need it most.
P - Lord thank You for my family.  I pray that I thank them more and look for all the good before I focus on the annoying.  May I purposely take time to thank them all in the coming days.
