Karlyn - LLJ week 6 day 1

Good Monday Morning!!!  Looking forward to a good week.  I can't believe May is almost here!  Rain has come and gone often and our temperatures have been so weird!  You never know with Arkansas weather.  Our guys are trying to plant corn this week.  An answer to prayer (don't remember if I said this)  but our crop insurance is going to cover us even though it's after April 20th should something happen to the corn!!!

Challenge this week:  Serve every day all day and find someone to honor
S - Luke 14: 5-6  Then he turned to them and said, "Which of you doesn't work on the Sabbath?  If your son or your cow falls into a pit, don't you rush to get him out?  Again they could not answer

O - Jesus without sin again confronts the Pharisees.  I'm so thankful that he negates legalism.  I'm even more thankful of how aware he makes me of it in my life.  Relationship with him isn't about tradition of denominational beliefs, it is a RELATIONSHIP of loving him with all of me and loving my neighbors!

A - I wish that I could live in humility.  Pride is so ugly in my heart and I battle it every second of the day.  I'm just as bad as the Pharisees at times even worse.  It's hard to pray for humility because with that comes stripping of pride and that can hurt.  This is definitely something I'm working through.

P - Lord Jesus thank you for being the ultimate example of humility and loving others.  Help me today to let go of pride and legalism in my heart so that others see you and not me.

  2. I thought of more stuff :)

Whatever happened to Ryan's AR & silencer? Did they find it? Also, how are Holly & Taylor? I pray for them every night. Hope it's going good.

  3. Still no news on the gun so we are still praying it isn't used to hurt anyone. Holly and Taylor are "planning" a wedding but who knows when that will happen. Their lives are pretty much in the same place so still praying for them.

    How are Tim and Amy?

  4. Tim still needs prayer. He pretty much stays on my heart constantly. Thank you so much for asking. Just life in general for Tim is good. He doesn't like living in Boston at all, but his job is great and he does get to travel a lot, which is nice.

Talked to Amy tonight and she said today was a good day. She just kind of takes it one day at a time. It hasn't gotten any worse, so that's good! Pregnancy wise she is great! Just dizziness and trouble breathing with all this vertigo stuff, still gives her fits.

We are planning my parents 40th anniversary dinner, so I'll get to see everyone in about 2 weeks in Ft. Worth. It'll be a lot of fun!
