Any fun plans this weekend? Hope all is going well for everybody!
S - "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." vs 6-7
O - Our job is to stay under His hand. He takes care of all the rest. God did not create us to take care of it all. He wants us to depend on Him to take care of it all.
A - How often I get caught up in doing it all. I want to cover all my bases and make sure everything is thought of. I do this at the expense of resting in the Lord. How nice it sounds just to sit under His hand and not worry, yet how easy it is to stick my head out and make sure it's all going just how I have planned.
P - Lord may I joyfully sit under your hand, trusting in You to take care of it all. You know best!
Resting in him sounds really perfect. I want to take my to do list every day and just say take it I'm resting in you make it all work out. I know I still have to do my part but letting go would sure ease a lot! Why do we have to have control?
