Karlyn - Galatians 1

S - 1:10  Obviously, I'm not trying to win the approval of people, but of God.  If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ's servant.

O - Paul was so bold.  I know his boldness comes through Christ but I long for boldness.  I'm a huge wimp when it comes to being BOLD in my faith.  I've always been a people pleaser.  Too many times I let that take over and not allow boldness in Christ come through.  Today I want to be bold and not shirk my love for Christ when confronted.

A - To be bold I've got to love God more than my air conditioner, my family,  and myself

P - Lord help me to not desire other people's approval of my life but seek your approval only.  Lord I ask for boldness to share my faith and not be afraid of their opinion of me.

  1. Karlyn, I can so relate to this. I could use some boldness too! I'm reminded of a quote from one of my favorite preachers, Steve Smith, he said "My biggest fear in life is missing out on what God is doing." I think my lack of boldness keeps me from doing or saying certain things. I don't want to miss opportunities b/c of fear. We'll pray for each other on this one ;)
