TRIP

O.K. girlz Southwest is running a 72 hour sale and there are some great prices! You have to buy the tickets by Thursday at midnight, but your travel dates can be anytime from August 23-Nov 16. Do we have any clue where we might want to fly into? I know Destin was mentioned. I think the closest Southwest gets to that is Panama City Beach. I know some don't even live close to a Southwest airport, but just wanted to let y'all know in case anyone had any thoughts.

    Sent Cindy a text to find out if she has connection for lodging and asked if southwest flies into Jacksonville

    Southwest doesn't fly into here. I would have to drive to Dallas or Little Rock. I'm up for anything, but honestly I don't have the time right now to plan a trip. You give me the details and I'll go. I can go pretty much anytime in August except on the 15th and 30th. Grant and Micah start school those days.
    I think Vegas might be fun. Its cheap to fly there and there are lots of good shows. We can even go to Memphis, the beach, or a 3 day cruise.
    Someone plan it and I'll try my best to come.

    Southwest flies from Nashville which is 3 hours from here, but not from Knoxville. Everything depends on my job situation, but I am definitely up for the trip and will do my best to come.

    Cindy left me a message last night about a condo that she may have connections in getting for us. She said it depends on the date. As far as dates for me: July is out. I could go the second weekend in August or the fourth weekend in August. September is pretty open.

    I guess we need to nail down a date so Cindy can check her connection and then go from there.

    The fourth weekend in August would work great for me, or pretty much any weekend in September. Southwest does fly into Jacksonville, but I know that doesn't help Jenifer or Amber out. Their specials do have some conditions like have to fly on a Monday - Thursday.

    I posted on here last night but for some reason it didn't show up. Why don't we set a date in September for our trip, see if Cindy's connection at the beach is open that date, and then work from there. Maybe Southwest will have another sale. If anyone has another suggestion lay it out there.
