Good Morning Girlz!!! 3 Fall Festivals! That's fun! My weekend was great! Dinner with the girls, helped with a race, watched lots and lots of football, church Sunday and prayer meeting that night. It was great! Hope y'all all have a great start to your week!
S - As for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine” Titus 2:1
O - We must be grounded in what is truth and then live that truth out. Knowing sound doctrine, keeps us away from false doctrine.
A - The whole time I was reading today's entry I was thinking about the sermon on Sunday. Our youth minister gave us 3 key characteristics Christians need to have in order to change our world for Christ. None of these three characterisitcs would be possible without the foundation of solid, sound doctrine. Knowing what is true, so we can live it out. Here are his points:
A = Attitude - If we are grumpy and pessimistic all the time, then others are not going to be attracted to our Christ.
C = Cooperation - We aren't in this alone. We need each other. We need to work together as believers to see His kingdom grow.
L = Legacy - Who are influencing and winning for Christ? What type of legacy are we leaving behind?
(yes Cindy it spells ACL, and yes I thought of you and your ice bag sitting on the couch in the dorm) :)
P - Lord I pray that my heart & mind would be grounded in what's right, not what is the newest fad or the most popular speaker/author. May I measure all teaching by Your Word, and that when I have it in my head it will be lived out in my life. That others may see You in me.
