Karlyn: TW Makeover Day 6

Happy Columbus Day and Monday morning!  Hope it's a fabulous day.  I ran 7 miles on Saturday and I'm still hurting!!!! but I'm over 1/2 way there!

S - Proverbs 31:13 She finds wool and flax and busily spins it.

O - "Busily", It's not hard for me to stay busy but I don't always do the important mundane jobs that I need to do.  I tend to put those off to do other things!  So, today I will happily do the laundry, clean the bathroom and straighten up, then go do something fun like embroider pumpkin shirts!!!!

A - I appreciated all the references to "hands" that Nancy brought out.  It's good for me to be reminded that my hands are to be busy doing God's work and not what I want to fill my time with!  I need new perspective a lot when I'm working and to be reminded that everything I do should be an offering is very convicting.  I also need to apply and teach this to my kids:
“[But you, King Asa,] Be strong, and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!” (2 Chronicles 15:7).

P- “O God, we pray that You would let Your work appear to Your servants and Your glory to their children. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us and establish, direct, and determine the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands” (Psalm 90:16–17
