Good Morning Girlz!!!
S - She looks well to the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Proverbs 31:27
O - Today Nancy talked about how idleness can also distract us from prayer, and if we are not praying for our familes whose gonna? Praying for our loved ones is such a big responsibility. Lifting them up on a daily basis is something I need to take more seriously.
A - A lot of today's post was about specific things that create idleness for us. In other words what keeps us from being productive. Ooooh, that could be a long list for me!!! Here are a few that are high on the list for me:
* I often catch myself with this mentality: "I'm the only one that lives here and the mess isn't bothering me, so why straighten it up?" This type of justification has been the root to a sink full of dishes for days, blankets & shoes dotting the floor in the den, papers piled up on the kitchen table, etc.
* The fear of something not going right, so I put off trying it. For instance, I have been having troubles with the tension on my sewing machine. I have also had some projects that I needed to finish up. Instead of sitting down and getting those last few projects done and put away, I put it off and off afraid the tension wouldn't work and I would have to tweak it to get it to do right. I finally got it all done Monday, and everything worked fine.
* The computer. How fun it is to click around on facebook or pinterest. A lot of valuable time can be lost sitting at my desk at home.
P - Lord I pray that I would make good use of my time, and that I would commit to everyday pray for my family.
Also, my situation yesterday got a lot better. Thanks for thinking of me.
Have a great day!!!
