My dad is painting our church and he fell off the ladder today please pray that he won't be too sore and can recover quickly. No broken bones that we know of just a bad cut on his leg. What a day:)
S - I timothy 2:9-10 paraphrased That women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works.
O - adorn = thought thru and put together prepared
A - I'm thankful that Paul being a man knew what men struggle with...their eyes!!! It's a great reminder that what we look like doesn't just reflect our heart but can be an issue for others also! I need to make sure my outside is reflecting my inside.
Is my inner life well ordered?
Do I have a well ordered heart?
Are my emotions well ordered?
These are questions that I can ask myself daily!
P - Lord help me to be well ordered in a chaotic world especially my emotions! God I give my emotions to you.
