S- Ephesians 3:6 "...to be specific that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the Gospel."
O- Back in v. 4-5 it talks about the mystery of Christ that had been revealed to Paul that had not been revealed in other generation and then on to v. 6 that the Gentiles (that's us) are fellow heirs, members of the body, and partakers of the promise in Christ.
A- Sometimes, okay a lot of times, I am amazed at how God chose to do things in the Bible and today as well. I guess it hasn't always been on my mind that the promise of Christ was first to the Jews and then to the Gentiles. I mean, I knew it, but it's not continually on my mind what the ramifications would be for me if He would have just stopped with the Jews. When I really sit and think about it, it blows my mind. I am so thankful that the Lord chose me, that His salvation is not just for the Jews, His chosen people, but that He extended it to me for now I am one of His chosen.
P-Lord, help me to live in a way that displays your Glory. Thank you for choosing me! May my life, not be a waste for your Kingdom, but a life that demonstrates my love for the Chooser. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Lord for extending your grace to me.
