Amber- Titus 2

James and Titus! I think I could spend weeks on each chapter truly striving to implement what they teach!

S- Titus 2:3-5 "Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored."

O- "so that the word of God will not be dishonored" I don't know about anyone else, but I have noticed more lately that the Bible uses very strong language when referring to sin. Another good reminder of the seriousness of sin.

A- Remembering the seriousness of sin in my life even the "little things" dishonor God and His Word. There are more characteristics that I need to strive for in my daily life. I am a checklist kind of person and I don't want these things to become another list of things I can check off, but a true heart change where these things are part of my character. I have also wanted to have an older lady to mentor me. I have good relationships with some of the elderly women and I learn a lot from them, but I really want an intentional relationship. I haven't come across anyone that the Lord has pointed out to me or someone that I "click" with.

P- Praying for the Lord to continue to point out even the "little" sins in my life. Praying that I would truly become a woman worthy to mentor (which I know you don't have to be "worthy" but you know what I mean) and humble enough to be mentored. Praying the Lord will provide the perfect mentor relationship in my life.
