Good Morning Girlz!

S - "So also the tongue is a small part of the body, and yet it boasts of great things. See how great a forest is set aflame by such a small fire!" James 3:5

O - When I was a member at Weight Watchers my leader, Susan (love her!) did a very impactful meeting once. She came in the room asking us, "At what temperature do you declare it hot?" Members yelled out...90, 98, 100, degrees. Susan went on to say that at 112 degrees water boils. Not at 100, not at 105, not at 110, not at 111 degrees. That one degree more makes the biggest difference - it changes the state of matter.

A - That day in Weight Watchers Susan asked us what that one small thing is that we are neglecting in our weight loss that would make the biggest difference...writing down what you eat, getting your water in, eating vegetables, etc. This is a lesson applicable to James 3 as well. The tongue is a small mechanism, yet it has incredible power. Power for good or bad. The question I ask myself is, "What is that one small thing (that one degree more) that would make a big difference in my life? What do I need to get under control?"

P - I ask for prayer for that "one degree more." As Amber has mentioned in previous posts what is good that needs to be moved to the best? May our pots boil over girls!
