Karlyn - Psalms

Good Morning Sunshines!!!!
S - 23:6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

84:1-2  How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of heaven's armies.  I long, yes I faint with longing to enter the courts of the Lord.  With my whole being, body, and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God.

63:1; 3-5 O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you.  My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.
Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you.  I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.  You satisfy me more than the richest feast.  I will praise you with songs of joy.

139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.  Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

O - When we got to Psalms in the Chronological Bible Study this year I started making a list of all the verses that I knew as songs, songs that I sang with my family growing up and songs that are familiar to us today.  I couldn't believe how many there were.  These are just a few of my favorites.
When I was typing these out I forgot just how uplifting these words are.  If I would just begin my day praising with these verses my attitude would be so different.  The desperation of longing to be with God and to know him really gets to my core.  I don't think I've ever lived with that much conviction and desire for Christ.  My relationships, my decisions, my everything would be so different if I lived with this conviction!

A - In my Bible reading and study every morning I need to read with conviction and apply every word to my life with conviction of the heart!  Just as if I was David in the caves desperately longing for God!

P- I'm driving home from Springfield today with the boys and Walter, pray for safety and that Knox travels well (he hates to travel).  God help me to live out in my words and actions how your unfailing love is better than life itself.  Lord I desire for you to satisfy me more than the richest feast!
