Amber- Psalm 143

S-Psalm 143:5-6 "I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Your doings; I muse on the work of Your hands. I stretch out my hands to You; My soul longs for you, as a parched land."

Psalm 143 10-12"Teach me to do your will, For You are my God; Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground. For the sake of Your name, O Lord revive me...For I am Your Servant."

O- I remember reading this Psalm atop a mountain with a beautiful view in Romania in 2001. I was in a place where I needed the Lord to revive me. I was longing for Him to revive me with all my heart. I sat alone and read these verses again and again weeping before my Father. Then the last sentence of the chapter..."For I am Your Servant." For some reason that line just gives me chills. The humility of it!

A- I want to long for the Lord as David did. I want to be revived, not because of the benefits for myself, but for HIS NAME'S SAKE.

P- Lord, thank you for the fire you have rekindled in me in recent days, may it continue to grow.
Lord, revive me for Your Name's Sake so that my life may be used to glorify you. Place a longing within my heart that only you can fill. May I earnestly seek after you. Teach me to do your will, Lord, for you are my God. For I am your servant.

Shane and Shane have a song on their Psalms cd that was written from this Psalm. Love it!

Thanks girls for the last 2 weeks! The Lord has begun a work in me where I have been dry and stagnant for awhile. Pray that I will continue to allow Him to work in my life for His glory.
